Hi, I'm Ivey
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." – Eleanor Roosevelt
I will complete my Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Clemson University this May, where I also completed my IE undergraduate degree complemented by a minor in Political Science. Throughout my time at Clemson, I’ve been grateful to engage in several learning and leadership opportunities, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being part of the Thomas F. Chapman Leadership Scholars program.
My curiosity has led me to a variety of professional experiences, from conducting research for the Department of Energy, where I focused on enhancing supply chain efficiencies, to internships in technology project management and intellectual property law. These roles have allowed me to apply and grow my problem-solving skills in real-world settings.
Outside of my academic and professional life, I have an appreciation for sports, entertainment, fashion, and traveling. Modeling has been a rewarding part of my life, allowing me to participate in fashion weeks across South Carolina and work with Ursula Weidman Models in Atlanta. My interest in sports goes beyond being a spectator, as I enjoy exploring the intersection of data and athletic performance through sports analytics. My travels, including a study abroad experience in Paris and trips to places like Cinque Terre, Big Sur, Florence, and Zermatt, have enriched my perspective and fueled my curiosity.
I also believe in giving back to the community. I initiated a scholarship for women pursuing STEM fields in Anderson County, hoping to support other young women interested in STEM. My involvement in community initiatives is one of the ways I try to contribute positively to the world around me and make a difference that might outlive me.
Through this website, I hope to share reflections on my journey and connect with people who share similar passions.
